Paws Applause

The Geography Bee was held earlier today at Shippensburg Area Intermediate School for 4th and 5th graders from SAIS and GBLUES.  The winner of each class competed for the title of 2016-17 Geography Bee Champion for the Shippensburg Area School District Intermediate level.

Congratulations to all participants and to the Champion and Runner Up!!

Christian Pimental was named the 2016-17 Geography Bee Champion and Aryan Gaonkar was the runner up.

Further competition will occur at the next level.

A special thanks to Mayor Bruce Hockersmith for moderating the contest, and to Mrs. Vanessa O'Shea and Mrs. Mowery for coordinating the contest along with all teachers of 4th and 5th graders!
