We had a fantastic swim season.  Our girls were undefeated, won the Colonial Division Crown, and many swimmers competed at Districts as well as States. 

In Districts the following students earned medals: 

Sam Nonemaker (4th, 200 free; 4th, 500 free)

Elijah Zinn (7th, 50 free)

Maddie Osanitsch (7th, 500 free; 4th, 500 free)

Makenna Morris (5th, 200 IM; 5th, 500 free)

Madelyn Facchinei (7th, 100 breast)

 

Boys 200 Freestyle Relay Team (7th; Nonemaker, Kaiden Estep, Matt Buck, Zinn) 

Girls 200 Freestyle Relay Team (8th; Osanitsch, Facchinei, Rachel Morehouse, Morris) 

Girls 400 Freestyle Relay Team (6th; Morris, Morehouse, Facchinei, Osanitsch)

 

We had three swimmers qualify for States 

Makenna Morris (28th, 200 IM; 23rd, 500 free)

Maddie Osanitsch (30th, 200 free; 26th, 500 free)

Sam Nonemaker (28th, 200 free; 20th, 500 free)

Six new school records: 

Sam Nonemaker (200 IM, 100 back, 500 free 2x)

Boys 400 Free Relay (Nonemaker, Buck, Alby Lear, Zinn)

Girls 200 Free Relay (Teddi Powell, Osanitsch, Morehouse, Morris)

 

National Scholar Team awards and Academic All-Americans will be announced in April.
