Since I was not sure to whom this should go, I decided to share it with you. Teri Mowery has been so supportive of the Blessing of the Backpacks. The district brought computers so parents could update emergency information and/or apply for free or reduced lunch. Troy Stevens set everything up and Bruce Levy also helped at the computer station. Boyo transportation sent a bus for children to board as well as 100 gift bags with some school supplies. Angie McKee coordinated the free haircuts and worked with Messiah to determine students who needed hygiene kits and school clothes. We are truly grateful for the support of the event and for the efforts to assist district families. After the event, supplies were boxed up for the schools. The district also picked them up and delivered them. THANKS for all you do!!
