Q:  Has a risk assessment been completed in regard to changing the school start time for Grace B. Luhrs Elementary School?

A:  No official risk study in regard to traffic safety has been conducted to my knowledge.  The decision to re-align the starting time with the other elementary schools was made to provide equal access/equity to any and all students who may wish to attend GBLUES now or in the future.  By aligning the starting times, transportation can be provided more efficiently.
