Paws Applause: Boys Soccer

Dear Dr. Mummau,

 I wanted to give a quick shout out to Mike Montedoro for his support of the high school boys' soccer team this season. He has announced all of the home games at the park and this week both games at the University. His tweets have also been greatly appreciated by both the players and parents.  

Soccer doesn't get the attention that other sports receive in our district, but the support of our AD may lead to a much needed change in the communities' mind set and opinion. 

Greyhound soccer has great potential over the next several years, and these student-athletes are working hard to represent SASD well. Mike Montedoro's involvement and interest in the program is not going unnoticed. He may simply be "doing his job," but to me his efforts are making an impact on the players and the sport they love.
