Woodall Appointed Director of Curriculum, Instruction,
and Assessment
At its regular meeting on June 12, 2017, the Shippensburg
Area School District Board of Directors appointed Sheri Woodall as Director of
Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. Woodall earned her Bachelor’s
degree from Penn State University, her Masters of Science in Curriculum and
Instruction from Wilkes University, and her Administrative credentials from
Shippensburg University. She is currently pursuing a doctorate from
Widener University.
Woodall has nine years’ experience as a teacher of Earth and
Space Science, Biology, AP Biology, and middle school math at both the middle
and high school levels. She has four years of administrative experience,
one year as the state wide testing coordinator for the Commonwealth Charter
Academy and three years as Principal/Assistant Principal at Steelton-Highspire
Junior/Senior High School.
Woodall is married to her college sweetheart who is a math
teacher and Head Wrestling coach at Central Dauphin East High School. She
will begin work with the district in August and is looking forward to becoming
a Greyhound.
