Paws Applause:
Congratulations to Aaron Ross, Allison Findley, Ally Mankamyer, Nick
Bowers and Emily Loftus traveled to IU to present their STEM
project. The team placed 3rd. They designed a
device that would filter out road salt from entering the ecosystem through
storm drains. The device is an airtight chamber with a vacuum so that
when the pressure is lowered the salt water will boil and leave the salt behind
so the clean water will enter the environment. They have been working on
the project since November.
