Paws Applause:


Today the Shippensburg Middle School Academic Quiz Bowl team traveled to Lamberton Middle School in Carlisle PA to compete in the regional competition. Sixteen very talented teams gathered and in the end Shippensburg Middle School made it to the quarter finals placing 8th. I am unbelievably proud of every student who participated today. They were kind, respectful and exhibited gracious sportsmanship. I am proud everyday to work for such a fabulous district and days like today remind me why I love Shippensburg. It is much more than a district it's a family. A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Susan Spicka who was kind enough to lend a helping hand and act as a second coach for the day! None of this would be possible without the support of the parents and administration.
