Mr. Veley's Students Skype with Author!

The author Chris Grabenstein spent 30 minutes answering students’ questions. He spoke about the book that SAMS is reading Escape from Mr. Lemeoncellos’s Library, as part of the one school, one book initiative.  He also spoke about the movie version of the book which is being produced by Nickelodeon, as well as his collaboration with James Patterson. The students read Escape from Mr. Lemeoncellos’s Library prior to our conversation with Mr. Grabenstein, and students came prepared to ask questions. One comment that truly brought a smile to the author came from August Wildermuth, and he said “I just wanted to thank you for writing such a wonderful book. Your books have brought me hours of enjoyment and entertainment.” It was a nice way to wrap up a rare experience.
