Name and current position:  Cheryl Diehl, James Burd Building Secretary

High School attended:  Palm Bay High School, Palm Bay, Florida 

Year started at SASD and position: 

March 1995 started as a noon aide at Nancy Grayson. 

January 1996, I was Part-time Guidance Secretary for NG and JB.

July 1997 I began as Full time Building Secretary at James Burd.

I left the district June 2004 and returned April 2005 to the same Full time Building Secretary position at James Burd! 

Most unusual incident on the job:  I work in an elementary building…..every day is an adventure!! 

Extra assignments:  We do a little of everything in the office! 

Hobbies:  Reading (mainly mystery), Refurbishing furniture, craft projects 

Your hero:  My parents…they have taught me so many things in my lifetime!  They are always there for help, support, guidance and love.   

Pet peeve:  People being late for appointments.   

Five minutes with:  My great grandparents and grandparents who have passed.   

Favorite movie:  Hitch…Kevin James and Will Smith are hilarious! 

What would people find surprising about you?  It’s Christmas every day for me…at least that’s what my husband of 32 years tells me!!
